Galaxy group in Andromeda

Ten galaxies listed in the New General Catalog can be seen in this image from an area of sky in southern Andromeda, just east of the Great Square of Pegasus. The estimated distances of these ga;laxies are about 260 to 300 million light years.
Despite these great distances, the brightest of these galaxies are about magnitude 12 and 13, putting them witihin the range of typical amateur telescopes. The dimmer NGC galaxies in this group are listed at magnitude 15 or fainter, and apertures of 18 inches or more may be needed to see them.
