This nice spiral galaxy is a prominent member of the Virgo galaxy cluster.
In the upper left corner of this image is a small but bright galaxy, NGC 4516, magntude 12.5. Below Messier 88, about half way to the edge of the image, is a much dimmer spiral, PGC 169493, magnitude 16.6.

Image details: Exposure times of 60 minutes luminance and 30 minutes each of red, green and blue, taken with an SBIG ST-8300M imager and a 12" Meade telescope at f/5.6.
