This sequence of 90 images spans an actual time interval of 13 minutes, during which Comet PanSTARRS was passing through tree branches (out of focus) and clouds, as it slowly set in the west on cold and very windy night.

Image details:  90 2-second exposures at ISO 1600, taken with a Canon 400D camera and a 12-inch Meade telescope at f/7.
