Galaxy Cluster in Canis Minor This is a relatively sparce galaxy cluster, with just a few large galaxies scattered around the field of view of this image. Some galaxy clusters have a large galaxy near the center, and Abell 592 has one. The galaxy PGC 78089 is just to the right of center in this image. A close look at the larger versions of this image shows that there are more than a dozen smaller galaxies surrounding this large galaxy.
Image details: 180 exposures of 120 seconds (total of 6.0 hours), taken with a ZWO ASI2600MC Pro imager and a 14" Meade LX850 telescope at f/5.6. January 2025
